The
Pickup |
Permanent installation of this pickup should be done with
super glue (cyanoacrylate). However, its a good idea
to experiment with different locations for the low-mass sensor,
attaching it temporarily with double-side adhesive tape. Try
different locations behind the bridge inside the guitar: on
the bass side, treble side, and in the middle. Once you have
found the best tone, glue the Perfect timbre pickup in place.
Attach the preamp module to the neck block or back and install
the endpin output jack as indicated in the instructions accompanying
the Perfect timbre. Placing the preamp inside the guitar ensures
that the action, sustain, and appearance of the instrument
are unaffected.
|
| Jack |
The 1/4" endpin
jack replaces the endpin button. This requires enlarging the
hole. The wire leading from the pickup must be soldered to the
pins on the jacks rear. Refer to the installation instructions
for your specific endpin jack for correct drilling and soldering
procedures. |
| Usage Tips |
The Perfect
timbre works well with all guitar and keyboard amps, as well
as P.A. systems and recording mixers. For added control over
the instruments tone, use a high-quality preamp. For P.A. and recording applications, a high-quality direct box such as as the D-TAR Solstice or Equinox is suggested. |
