Applying
The
Pickup |
Initially, attach the
pickup discs near the bridges with gaffers tape, and then
use a cassette recorder to record the sound you get at different
locations. Take notes and compare the sound at different places.
Then attach the pickup discs with double-sided adhesive tape,
with the discs metal sides toward the sitars top.
Place each pickup close to one of the bridges. Once the pickup
discs are in place, use tape to hold the cord snug against the
instrument to avoid rattling. |
| Jack |
The 1/4" output jack is held against the lower part
of the sitars body using a self-adhesive dual-lock hook-and-loop
strip.

| Usage Tips |
Most amplifiers Most
amplifiers work well with both types of pickups. For P.A. and recording applications, a high-quality direct box such as as the D-TAR Solstice or Equinox is suggested.
